Recycle used toner cartridges

Recycle used toner cartridges - IU Indianapolis

Keep empty toner out of landfills and give them a second life through our toner cartridge recycling program. Thanks to our partners in Mail Services and IU Indy Surplus, recycling used cartridges uses our existing campus logistics, with no special drop-offs or extra costs required.

How to recycle toner cartridges:

  1. Place the empty toner bottles or cartridges in the box that the full replacement toner bottles or cartridges were delivered in.
  2. Label the box: "Attn: IUI Surplus | 18th Street Warehouse | Empty Toner"
  3. Drop the box off in your department mail room. Mail Services will pick up the box and deliver to IUI Surplus for recycling.

* Mail Services is unable to accept large volumes or bulk quantities of toner cartridges at one time.
