Get to know Jessica
Jessica was appointed Associate Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer in September 2023. She previously served as Director of the IUPUI (now IU Indianapolis) Office of Sustainability and Interim University Director of Sustainability of Indiana University. Jessica also holds an Associate Faculty appointment in the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs where she has taught SPEA-222: Principles of Sustainability, SPEA 260/550: Solutions for Climate Change, and SPEA 260/550: Greenhouse Gas Accounting.
Jessica has received state and national recognition for her sustainability efforts and expertise. Notably, she was named Women in Green Leadership Sheroe by the USGBC East North Central Region; Indiana Recycling Rock Star by Circular Indiana; Hoosier Resilience Hero by the IU Environmental Resilience Institute; and Environmental Innovator of the Year by the Green Sports Alliance.
